Severn Beach line and Filton Abbey Wood shuttle trains have train managers, and presumably the longer distance trains calling there do too!
Stapleton Road station is not great for access. The access roads are long and bumpy, and it is a bit of a lively area with plenty of uneven pavements and pavement parking.
I can’t say I’d recommend it.

Ok, question from an out-of-county resident....
Do the trains generally calling at Stapleton Road carry a guard/train manager?
I know the station is unstaffed. Was wondering whether I can get there in my wheelchair. It does seem as though residents park on pavements there, looking at Google Maps, certainly coming off the trains from Bristol side (Pl. 1?)
Heading for Downend....is it safe around the station into the evening in winter?
