3. Has to be Melksham

Indeed - and it is the one I did NOT use public transport to reach in order to photograph. I walked.

20 looks like the Molli Bahn, Mecklenburg, Getmany - if so, I'd guess at Bad Doberan ⁷
It is the Mollibahn - though not at Bad Doberan.

As we are now past midnight, I'm going to post a further suggestion -
10. Minør, at Reykjavík, Iceland.
To be fair, we have discussed this before on the Coffee Shop forum.

No: it's a flexibus, running on tyres on cobblestones, not on any rails. That's not a tram.

Is 12 also Metz?
Yes, it is: darn, I missed with that second barrel.

Yes - and the more difficult question - "is that a tram"?

I will now push my luck a bit, moving into Europe, and nominate 1. as Metz, in France.
This tribute commemorates Jean Moulin...

You are correct ... and thank you for the further data which tells me much more than I knew from my brief visit

This tribute commemorates Jean Moulin, a significant figure of the French Resistance during World War II, who died in Metz on 8 July 1943.
The sculptures featured in the image are part of this tribute and were created by the German artist Stephan Balkenhol.
The ceremony and the permanent exhibition at the Metz station serve as a reminder of his role in unifying the French Resistance and his ultimate sacrifice.
My sister has effectively become a Frenchwoman, having married a Frenchman - whose family history is absolutely fascinating. She now lives in northern France, where the French Resistance were most active.

These are all pictures I have taken personally in fairly recent travels, none of which has involved a private (or hire) car journey or a flight - all bar 1 by public transport to and from home. The vast majority (perhaps 20 out of the 24) are at locations that can be reached with Interrail / Eurail passes, though as a UK resident I would probably not visit many of the British ones and waste a precious inbound / outbound day on that.
Only 2 of these pictures were taken in the same town.
For Coffee Shop members - the suggestion as usual is that you identify one picture each in the first 24 hours to give others a chance as usual - however, I'm going to relax that and say if you would like to identify more of the overseas ones in a batch, I will not object - I have tried to avoid the hardest of the hard, but some will stick!
